A number of elevators have been installed at the Tourism Reception Center in Shuanghu County, Naqu City, Xingjiang Province, created a new record for the use of elevators at the world's highest altitude (an average altitude of more than 5,000 meters), created a reliable, safety and a comfortable elevator environment for travelers on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the world's third pole.
Shuanghu County is the world's highest city in the Qiangtang No-man 's-land on the Third Pole Of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.,Located in the northwest of the Northern Tibetan Plateau,. With an average altitude of more than 5,000 meters, it was once called "no man's land" because it was so inaccessible in history.Shuanghu is the free translation of "Two Lakes" in Tibetan. It is named because it is located in Kangru Lake and Rejiao Lake.
Shuanghu County tourist reception center is located in the Qiangtang Plateau lake basin zone.The territory of gentle mountains, open grassland.The territory is mainly kunlun Mountain, Tanggula Mountain, Hoh Xili Mountain, Dongbu Mountain and other mountains.There are many lakes here and the average altitude  ara all above 4500 meters.
Strenuous exercise such as sprinting, running and lifting heavy objects under altitude of 5000 meters will increase the oxygen consumption of the human body, causing dizziness, headache, asthma, chest tightness, fatigue, insomnia, nausea and vomiting, purple lips and other altitude sickness. In order to reduce the occurrence of altitude sickness, Surapid has installed several elevators in the tourist reception center to provide better travel experience for people.

As soon as our Guangxi Branch received this project, we setted up a special project team to try our best to overcome all the difficulties in the world's highest altitude elevator.Hangzhou Technology Center from the temperature, air pressure and other plateau environment, in-depth analysis of the environment on the elevator traction machine, inverter, contacters and brake resistance. Hangzhou Engineering Center has developed a reasonable installation and debugging process for a series of altitude reactions caused by pressure difference, low oxygen content and dry air after people reach a certain altitude.
